Pastor Greg Roberts

Head of School

Pastor Greg Roberts is the visionary founder of both Eastgate Church and Eastgate Life Academy. An ordained minister who recently celebrated a milestone 25 years in full-time ministry, he has dedicated his life to spiritual leadership, community impact, and the educational growth of the next generation.

His deep-seated passion for Christian education drives his belief that every student deserves a learning environment that honors their unique, God-given potential. As a champion of individualized education, he is committed to helping students excel at their own pace while growing deep spiritual roots. Beyond the classroom and the pulpit, his ultimate heart is for restoration and growth—partnering closely with parents to build strong, successful, and Christ-centered families.

Pastor Lisa Roberts

Director of Finance

Pastor Lisa Roberts serves as the Director of Finance at Eastgate Life Academy, bringing the same dedicated 25-year tenure of ministry and leadership to the school as its co-founder. Together with Pastor Greg, she has poured her life into establishing and sustaining both Eastgate Church and Eastgate Life Academy from the very beginning.

In her executive role, Pastor Lisa masterfully oversees the school’s financial stewardship, budgeting, and business operations. Her meticulous management ensures that the academy remains structurally strong, resource-efficient, and fully equipped to serve our families. Combined with her pastoral heart, Pastor Lisa’s financial leadership provides the secure foundation that allows Eastgate’s mission of affordable, high-quality Christian education to thrive year after year.

Mrs. Lawanda Lynn

Administrative Director/ Upper School Lead Teacher

Mrs. Lawanda Lynn is a founding member of Eastgate Life Academy, bringing an incredible 19 years of classroom experience and nearly two decades of steadfast institutional continuity to our leadership team. A proud alumnus of the University of Georgia, Mrs. Lynn combines her strong academic foundation with a deep-seated commitment to the unique mission of our school.

In her administrative role, she provides the strategic oversight and operational excellence necessary to keep our academy running smoothly and efficiently. In her dual capacity as the Upper School Lead Teacher, Mrs. Lynn passionately guides our older students through their most critical academic years. Her dual focus ensures that upper-level milestone goals perfectly align with post-secondary readiness, fully preparing every Eastgate graduate to transition seamlessly into universities, the military, or the workforce with confidence and strong character.

Mr. Micah Lynn

Upper School Teacher

Mr. Micah Lynn joined the educational staff at Eastgate Life Academy in 2025, bringing a distinguished background in disciplined leadership, public service, and community devotion. A dedicated member of the Eastgate Church family since 2003, Mr. Lynn's long-standing roots in our ministry seamlessly complement his deep commitment to mentoring the next generation.

A proud alumnus of Columbia Southern University and Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC), Mr. Lynn also serves our community as a Certified Paramedic and is a Retired Battalion Chief from Gwinnett County Fire. His exceptional, decades-long background in crisis management, organizational leadership, and team dynamics translates perfectly into the structured, supportive environment of our Upper School. Whether guiding students through rigorous academics, utilizing his ongoing professional leadership training, or ensuring campus safety on the Security Team, Mr. Lynn is uniquely equipped to cultivate discipline, resilience, and godly character in Eastgate’s older students.

Mrs. Lori Moody

Upper School Teacher/Reading Remediation Specialist

Mrs. Lori Moody brings a beautiful blend of deep personal devotion and diverse professional expertise to Eastgate Life Academy. As the proud mother of three successful ELA alumni and a cherished grandmother, Mrs. Moody’s ties to the Eastgate family run incredibly deep, giving her a firsthand understanding of the transformative power of our school's mission from a parent's perspective.

Professionally, Mrs. Moody holds advanced credentials as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and a Certified Pharmacy Technician. This strong medical background infuses her classroom with exceptional discipline, care, and attention to detail. In her vital dual roles as an Upper School Teacher and our specialized Reading Remediation Specialist, she combines her structured healthcare training with a nurturing heart. Mrs. Moody is uniquely equipped to identify learning gaps, patiently guide students through academic challenges, and ensure every child masters the foundational reading skills necessary to unlock their full, God-given potential.

Mrs. Stacie Moore

Reading Readiness Lead Teacher

Mrs. Stacie Moore is a foundational pillar of our community, serving as a founding member of both Eastgate Church and Eastgate Life Academy. With a profound commitment to early childhood development, Mrs. Moore brings a decade of specialized classroom experience as a Reading Readiness Teacher, alongside eight years of invaluable insight gained as a dedicated homeschool educator.

This unique combination of professional academic standards and hands-on home discipleship allows Mrs. Moore to design a classroom that is both highly structured and deeply nurturing. As our Reading Readiness Lead Teacher, she specializes in guiding Eastgate’s youngest learners through their most critical formative years. By cultivating early literacy skills, a love for learning, and strong spiritual roots, Mrs. Moore ensures our littlest students receive the secure, godly foundation they need to thrive throughout their entire K-12 journey.

Mrs. Kasey Clarida

Learn to Read & Reading Fluency 

Lead Teacher

Mrs. Kasey Clarida brings a powerhouse combination of profound spiritual maturity, exceptional leadership background, and specialized pedagogical knowledge to Eastgate Life Academy. With over 20 years of faithful devotion to ministry and more than 15 years of dedicated experience in Early Childhood Education, Mrs. Clarida serves as a foundational anchor for our Lower School. She is an alumnus of Young Harris College and holds both an Early Childhood Director’s Credential and a degree in Theology.

As a former Administrator at Apopka Christian Academy, Mrs. Clarida possesses an extensive understanding of organizational wisdom and student care. Her deep professional focus on Special Education uniquely equips her to pinpoint and gently navigate diverse learning variances within our foundational reading programs. By combining her executive-level insight with a nurturing classroom approach, Mrs. Clarida ensures that every young student masters necessary reading fluency milestones and develops a lifelong, confident love for learning.

Mr. Colin Lynn

Technology Director

Mr. Colin Lynn, an ELA alumnus, brings an elite level of technical proficiency, academic excellence, and faithful service to Eastgate Life Academy. A cornerstone of our ministry, Mr. Lynn has dedicated 12 years to the Audio/Visual Director role at Eastgate Church, seamlessly blending his high-level technical skills with a deep servant’s heart.

As a current PhD Candidate in Information Technology at the University of the Cumberlands, Mr. Lynn represents the pinnacle of advanced academic pursuit within our staff. He also holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Western Governors University (WGU), a Bachelor of Science in Networking, and brings rich real-world experience as a professional Network Engineer. This powerhouse technical background ensures that Eastgate’s technological infrastructure is both cutting-edge and highly secure. By managing our digital resources with a profound understanding of our spiritual mission, Mr. Lynn safeguards and optimizes our learning environment, equipping our students and staff with the safest and most advanced educational tools.

Mr. Ryan Moody

Varsity Volleyball Coach

MS/Varsity Boys' Basketball Coach

Mr. Ryan Moody brings a deep devotion to athletic development, team culture, and spiritual mentorship to Eastgate Life Academy. A dedicated founding member of Eastgate Church, his commitment to our ministry’s vision runs deep, both as a leader and as a parent. He is the proud father of one ELA graduate and one current student, giving him a personal stake in the growth and success of our school community.

As one of the founding coaches of our athletics program, Coach Moody has been instrumental in building Eastgate sports from the ground up. In his versatile coaching roles, he leads our Varsity Volleyball team and guides both the Middle School and Varsity Boys' Basketball teams. Beyond his duties as a head coach, he serves the athletic department by managing critical administrative tasks, including updating official player statistics on MaxPreps, and providing valuable support as an assistant coach for the girls' athletic programs. Coach Moody is passionate about using the arena of sports to build strong character, discipline, and lifelong leadership skills in our student-athletes.

Mrs. Donna Chapman

Administrative Assistant

Mrs. Donna Chapman brings over 30 years of exceptional expertise as an administrative professional and customer service director to her role at Eastgate Life Academy. As an Administrative Assistant, she provides vital operational and organizational support to ensure that our campus runs smoothly and efficiently every day.

Beyond her impressive corporate and administrative background, Mrs. Chapman has served as our Nursery and Toddler Lead, an experience that equips her with a remarkably patient, warm, and nurturing approach. This unique combination of executive organizational skills and a caregiver's heart makes her a highly valued, reliable, and deeply caring presence for our staff, students, and families alike.
